More Than 10 Saudi Entities Represent KSA at IDEF 2025 in Turkey

Today, the Saudi pavilion, organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), was launched in Istanbul, Turkey, at the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025). More than 10 entities from the public and private sectors are participating in the event, which runs from July 22 to 27. IDEF 2025 is one of the most prominent and specialized military industry exhibitions worldwide, showcasing numerous products and national industrial capabilities. It is held under the patronage of the Turkish Armed Forces. His Excellency Eng. Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, Governor of GAMI, inaugurated the Saudi pavilion in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Khaled bin Hussein Biyari, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, CEOs of the participating Saudi companies in the pavilion, and senior military officials, experts, and specialists from various countries around the world. During their tour of the Saudi pavilion, His Excellency and the esteemed attendees were briefed on the latest products, military industrial capabilities, and advanced technologies across various fields of military industries. The Saudi pavilion aims to highlight the qualitative advancement in the military industries sector in the Kingdom, showcasing the latest advanced defense systems and technologies to explore cooperation opportunities with major global companies. More than 10 Saudi entities from both the public and private sectors are participating alongside GAMI, including the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), the National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS), Al-Esnad Industrial Support Company, the Saudi Chemical Company Limited (SCCL), Ray Manufacturing Service Company (RMC), INTRA Defense Technologies, Saudi GDC Middle East, Qudra Industrial, Pioneers Systems, in addition to the World Defense Show (WDS). His Excellency Eng. Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, Governor of GAMI, emphasized that Saudi Arabia's participation in IDEF 2025 comes as part of its efforts to strengthen its position as a leading regional hub for military industries and to activate international partnerships that enable the sector within the Kingdom. This also aims to attract strategic investments that contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which includes localizing over 50% of government spending on military equipment and services by 2030. He added that the Saudi pavilion serves as a key platform to showcase the significant progress made by national companies in developing innovative defense products and technologies. It also reflects the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing cooperation with international partners to promote regional and global security and stability. The Saudi pavilion will showcase the most prominent military industrial products and capabilities throughout the exhibition days, reflecting the Kingdom's efforts to enable its military industries sector. GAMI will present its role, responsibilities, national priorities, regulatory policies and legislation, as well as investment incentives and the investor journey. Additionally, the Saudi pavilion will host numerous bilateral meetings and discussions with participating international companies and delegations, aiming to exchange expertise and transfer knowledge. This participation reaffirms the Kingdom's growing role in the military industries sector and reflects GAMI's commitment to supporting and enabling national companies while enhancing their global competitiveness. These efforts align with the objectives of national security and sustainable economic development.
