Held biennially at "ExCeL London" in the United Kingdom, the Defense and Security Equipment International (DSEI) Exhibition brings together governments, national armed forces, industry leaders, and global defense and security supply chains. This facilitates the bolstering of relations and partnerships, the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as the opportunity to demonstrate the latest capabilities and technologies across aerospace, land, and naval industries. Under the Kingdom’s nation-wide investment brand INVEST SAUDI, GAMI led Saudi Arabia’s pavilion participation with key success partners the Saudi Ministry of Investment (MISA), Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), and the Kingdom’s flagship defense exhibition World Defense Show (WDS). The exhibition was held 14 - 17 September 2021.

Held biennially at Al Maktoum International Airport in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai Airshow (DAS) attracts some of the largest air and defense entities and dignitaries including 314 representatives from military and civil aviation companies from 148 countries. Moreover, the popular show was attended by more than 134 delegations from across the globe. The show exhibits the latest aircraft and emerging technologies amongst artificial intelligence, fifth- gen technologies, and cybersecurity. GAMI participated at the 17 th edition of DAS, which took place 14 - 18 November 2021.

Held biennially in the United Kingdom and specializing in air and defense industries, Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) is one of the largest and most highly coveted shows on the global circuit.. The show features space, aerospace, and defense industries, and showcases both military and civil aircraft capabilities to investors from all over the world. Under the Kingdom’s nation-wide investment brand INVEST SAUDI, GAMI led Saudi Arabia’s pavilion participation with key success partners the Saudi Ministry of Investment (MISA), Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), and the Kingdom’s flagship defense exhibition World Defense Show (WDS). The exhibition was held 18 - 22 July 2022.

Held biennially at the Sakhir Airbase in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the patronage of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) boasted the participation of more than 130 countries and 160 delegations. With its focus on aerospace capabilities, the show connects leading entities in the domain of all expertise
and specialties. GAMI proudly accepted the invitation to participate at the 7 th edition of the show, which took place 9 -11 November 2022.

The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) was established in accordance with the resolution of the Saudi Council of Ministers in August 2017, and it operates independently in carrying out its designated responsibilities as outlined in its mandate. GAMI seeks to enable the Kingdom’s defense industries sector and is responsible for regulating, enabling, and monitoring its performance.

GAMI is responsible for regulating, enabling, and licensing the Kingdom’s defense sector. It is the entity tasked with securing the necessary equipment for the Kingdom’s defense sector, as well as facilitating and incentivizing defense investment in the Kingdom, which requires issuing licenses to investors.

The regulatory law for practicing defense industries in the Kingdom articulates regulations in the defense industries sector, and lays down any and all relevant provisions.

The main purpose of obtaining a license is to regulate work within the defense industries sector in accordance with regulations in order to develop the defense industries sector and enhance competition.
