Among them was a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD) and (Agence Innovation Defense) to cooperate in the innovation of military and defence technologies and systems. The first was with (Global Affairs Canada) to establish the first Canadian national pavilion at World Defense Show 2028, while the second was signed with the Developed East Manufacturing Holding (DEMCO) to become a Distinguished Partner of the fourth edition of the exhibition. (GDC Middle East) signed a MoU with (DCI Group) to facilitate the transfer of specialized expertise and know-how, in addition to develop maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services. (Emaan Industrial) also signed a MoU with (KT-Shelter) to transfer technology and localize the manufacturing of temporary protective shelter solutions for air and land systems. Additionally, (Midana) signed MoU with several companies including (B2SPACE) to cooperate in the testing and qualification of space and satellite technologies; (EMITECH) to cooperate in qualification, test engineering, and advanced technologies for the defense and space sectors; and (DSA) to cooperate in capability building and knowledge transfer related to NATO standards and specifications in the military industries sector. On the sidelines of the Saudi Pavilion’s participation at the exhibition, the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) organized a workshop entitled “Developing Supply Chains in the Military Industries Sector,” held with the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (MIM), Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), and the National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS). The workshop addressed the role of the Industrial Participation Program in activating more than 60 agreements with leading global companies operating across the military industries sector. It also highlighted the contribution of integrated efforts with GAMI’s partners from the public and private sectors in providing an attractive investment environment for local and international investors, contributing to the development of a diversified and prosperous economy within the sector. The workshop also reviewed the National Industrial Strategy’s role in positioning the Kingdom as a global industrial hub. As well as the contribution of SAMI’s Rokan Program in developing local capabilities that support growth, enablement, and sustainability, in addition to highlighting the role of NCMS in localizing defence and security technologies and industries. Throughout the exhibition, the Saudi pavilion showcased the integrated collaborative efforts between government entities, highlighted national industrial and service capabilities, and the innovative technologies offered by participating Saudi companies. The Saudi Pavilion also highlighted Kingdom’s attractive investment environment by showcasing the enablers and incentives that facilitate the investor journey. Visitors praised the remarkable progress achieved by the Kingdom’s military industries sector and recognized the ambitious vision driving its continued growth within this vital sector. During the exhibition, GAMI highlighted the sector’s significant growth, with its contribution to GDP increasing from SAR 2.2 billion in 2021 to SAR 6.6 billion in 2024. The localization of military spending also reached nearly 25% in 2024, marking significant progress toward the Kingdom’s objective of localizing more than 50% of military spending by 2030. GAMI emphasized that the Saudi Pavilion’s participation at Eurosatory2026 further strengthened the Kingdom’s position as a trusted international partner, expanded its strategic network with leading global companies, and provided national companies with a platform to showcase their capabilities while exploring growth and expansion opportunities in global markets.

The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) honored the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) for achieving a distinguished level of compliance with data management and governance practices. Acting Governor of GAMI Bandar Alkhorayef received the award from President of the National Data Management Office at SDAIA Alrebdi Fahad Alrebdi, during his visit to GAMI’s headquarters. The recognition reflects GAMI’s efforts to develop its data management and governance framework and to achieve a leading level of compliance with national data governance policies, as well as with 2025 national controls and specifications for data management, governance, and personal data protection. It was granted based on the results of GAMI’s compliance assessment against the regulatory instruments issued by SDAIA. GAMI has invested in adopting the latest technologies and specialized projects in data management, including introducing a dedicated data management strategy and program and establishing relevant policies, procedures, and standards. It has also implemented advanced technological solutions to enhance data reliability and manage it efficiently and effectively.
